The rings around the outside of the model could not be addes, but here are the process photos for the rest of the model.

first a cardboard waffle was made to act as form work. |

Then a layer of plaster bandages to add some stiffness and the first surface |

Then a 1/4" thick layer of instant papier mache |
 |
The texture was very rough, so it was sanded down |

A quick lick of paint, et voila |
